Tarceel API
Tarceel lets you connect a WhatsApp number and send and receive messages through a normal REST API — no WhatsApp Business approval process, no message templates to get approved, no waiting. You scan a QR code once, and from then on your server talks to Tarceel over HTTPS.
Tarceel is an independent integration with WhatsApp — it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or built on WhatsApp/Meta's official Business Platform. WhatsApp can suspend a number for policy violations. You're responsible for getting consent/opt-in from the people on your contact lists before messaging them. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
What you can do
- Send text, images, video, audio, documents, location pins, and contact cards.
- Receive inbound messages and delivery-status updates on your own server via webhooks.
- Connect a third-party app (Zapier, your own backend, a CRM) to a customer's instance with one click — no copy-pasted API key required.
- Pay however suits you: a flat monthly/yearly plan per number, or prepaid message credits that never expire.
How it fits together
| Concept | What it is |
|---|---|
| Account | You, the developer/business. One account can own several instances. |
| Instance | One connected WhatsApp number. Has its own API key, webhook, and billing. |
| Account token | Proves who you are. Used to create/manage instances and billing. |
| Instance API key | Proves which number you're integrating with. Used to send messages. |
Account-level requests (Authorization: Bearer <account token>) answer "which account is this?"
Instance-level requests (Authorization: Bearer sk_...) answer "which WhatsApp number is this?"
Most of the API you'll actually call from your backend — sending messages — only ever needs an
instance's own key. See Authentication for the full picture.
Where to go next
- New here? Start with the Quickstart — from signup to a sent message in a few minutes.
- Building an integration? Authentication and Sending Messages cover the two things every integration needs.
- Need inbound messages? Webhooks is the full contract — payload shapes, signature verification, retries.
- Want the exhaustive detail? The API Reference documents every route, every field, generated straight from our OpenAPI spec — also available as raw YAML if you'd rather import it into Postman/Insomnia yourself.
